I’m exhausted from all the wedding work over the past couple of weeks…and the drive back home from San Luis Obispo. But it was nice to come home, have a moment to relax, and then enjoy a fabulous meal of authentic Indian food prepared by my friend, Darshini. It was amazing, she’s such a wonderful cook! Darshini and her husband, Soumya, had a few us of neighbors, our kids and my mom over tonight for dinner…and it was so delicious. The kids all played well and everyone enjoyed themselves. After two generous helpings of chicken curry, dal, naan, chutney, eggplant and more…we finished off the dinner with our neighbor Ron’s famous chocolate pecan torte and Darshini’s super-yummy homemade cardamom-scented vanilla ice cream. Darshini’s Chai with freshly grated ginger and mint from her backyard garden is simply divine. My kids love her Chai. What a nice way to end a crazy work week!
