>Check Out What’s "Hatching…."

>Spring is in the air and there’s beautiful color everywhere! From the gorgeous tulips blooming in my neighbor’s courtyard, to the meadow grasses popping up everywhere to cover brown dirt with a sea of bright green…nature’s palette is in full effect! I love it! Besides the fact that I’ve been sneezing up a storm, springtime in Southern California is one of my favorite times of year!

Spring is also my busiest time of year. Not only is it Wedding Season, but it’s time for Spring Cleaning – which means that cleaning up the house also inspires home improvement projects, remodeling and decorating. And that means new painting projects, murals, faux finishes and touch ups for EITAK! In the last couple of weeks, it’s been all of the above! I’ve been working on a bunch of cool projects in some amazing homes. But I’ll save that for another post. Like I always say, busy is good!

So, back to COLOR…..yesterday I received the sample pack for the new Envelopments line of papers, patterns and products. All I can say is “WOW!” I’m so excited to start designing invitations, announcements and social communiques with these new colors and patterns! Did I mention that I LOVE PAPER?!!! Here’s a sneak peek:
I’ll post more detailed shots of the new collection (especially my favorites) or include a link to Envelopments’ swatch pages soon. Here’s what’s coming…. “113 new stocks, for a total of 247 colors. The new collection includes 13 new matte stocks, 16 metallic stocks, 6 textured metallic stocks, 4 new duplex stocks, and introducing 9 new letterpress stocks. In addition to all that and our current colors, we’re adding 65 new patterned stocks from 5 new Envelopments Original Patterns: Bloom, Brocade, Swiss, Sutra, and Mod. You’re going to love them all!” I’m in love already!

I’m also really excited about a new pocket format and these FAVOR BOXES! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them all. I’m already thinking up ways to use the boxes for more than just favors! I can’t wait. Check back soon to see what’s “crackin'” at EITAK Design. Happy Spring!
